Gentle december day 11

When I was in school Gene Yang came and spoke to us and I was incredibly inspired by his process. As a dad with a day job, he would do one panel a day. I'm gonna try that for the next six days to make a one page comic that i've been wanting to make for a while.

My favorite kids book today is Maybe... by Chris Haughton

This guy, Chris Haughton, makes incredible board books. There are like five or six different ones and each one is a sublime piece of book art. I think this one is the best one. It's about some very brave monkey children who venture into tiger infested jungles to eat mangoes. Really, I'd recommend all of his books, tbh.
