Today my favorite kids book is The Littlest Family's Big Day by Emily Winfield Martin

When I started getting serious about kids bookselling this was kind of like my first big hit. I sold so many copies of this little board book, my goodness. Copying my original review below:
This incredible little story feels like an unearthed Margaret Wise Brown classic. In what seems to be a direct homage to The Little Fur Family (one of my all-time favorites) this board book introduces us to the Littlest Family as they move into their "warm wooden tree" and then go for a pleasant and slightly perilous walk. With its beautiful illustrations and quiet, thoughtful language, this is one of those rare books that I don't mind reading over and over again to my demanding toddler.
