Today my favorite kids book is 10 Hungry Rabbits by Anita Lobel

Anita Lobel was married to Frog and Toad author Arnold Lobel and is every bit his equal as an artist of amazing picture books. This is my favorite counting picture book, especially, because it has incredible art, it's fun to read out loud, and making vegetable soup is one of my favorite past-times.

Also I feel a very strong connection to the goth rabbit who keeps peppercorns in his pocket.
