My favorite kids book today is Little Witch Hazel by Phoebe Wahl

Currently my 4 yr olds favorite bedtime book. This is broken into four stories, one for each season, and it's about a tiny witch who spends her days running errands and hanging out with tiny animal friends. Wahl's art is incredible and a great antidote to the current trend of plasticity AI-looking art in picture books these days (Grumble grumble)

Old timey, classic folksy feeling with a progressive modern vibe. Pretty much perfect.
